The Designer
In January 2000, after completing a Bachelors degree with a minor in Sociology & a Specialization in Communications, Karine Eyamie started her career in the advertising niche. Project management, media placement & client services were her specialty. Five intensive years invested in learning & mastering the concept of image.

Strong of that experience, it was then time for a career change. In January 2006, after completing an introductory course in sewing, Karine got stung by the crafty needle. In February 2006, Karine left Gatineau for Montreal, this time to take a business fashion atelier given by Kafi Dublin, owner of Le Marché Mtl. Two weeks later, they met again for another fashion atelier where Karine showcased Kafi her mini-jewellery collection. Impressed, Kafi advised Karine to put a hold on doing clothing and focus on creating jewellery.
Karine is now creating her gems from a home-based studio in Gatineau, QC Canada. Her collections are available in boutiques in Ottawa, Gatineau, Edmonton and Montreal, and in her online Etsy shop: www.mizdragonfly.etsy.com
